Municipal Electric Aggregation

The City of Greenville has entered into an agreement with Constellation, effective December 1, 2025.  The new secured 17-month contract has a fixed energy supply rate of $0.11974/kWh.   This rate will not change regardless of Ameren's rate changes and is a fixed rate from December 2025 through May 2027.

Residents have the ability to opt-out of the municipal electrical aggregation supplier and can choose Ameren or any other supplier of their choice at any time.  If residents are currently enrolled with the municipal aggregation program and want to change, they should call Constellation at 844-383-2156.  While there are no fees to change from Constellation, Ameren or other suppliers may have a minimum contract period, fees and/or program availability constraints that may apply.

The rates are as follows:

$0.11974/kWh from December 1, 2025 through May 31, 2027
